Red, White and Blue Strawberries!

For our Fourth of July week we enjoyed red, white and blue strawberries yesterday.  We dipped the red strawberries in white icing, then dipped them again in blue sprinkles.  It was a delicious treat!

Williamson Hospital Children's Addition

We are so honored to be a part of Williamson's new Children's Hospital.  They asked us a while back to submit artwork from our students.  One of our pieces was chosen and now hangs in a patient room.  Thank you to Williamson Children's for asking us to participate.  We hope the artwork will bring families lots of joy and happiness during their time there.

A close up of her artwork.  So bright and colorful!  It's sure to make many kids happy.

The new Children's Hospital is beautiful and a great resource for local families.

The open house event was fantastic with so much family fun including a hot air balloon!

Toddler Adventures

While our toddler playground gets a little facelift, our toddlers have been able to play on the BIG playground!  They LOVED all the new toys and equipment.  They had a blast.  Enjoy another round of pics in "Toddler Adventures"!

Climbing and sliding are our favorites!

 Let us out!

 Artwork time.

Letting our artistic side show.  :)

 We got to ride bikes!

We played with our older classmates.

We practiced climbing up the ladders.

 Here I go!

The block and truck center was awesome!

Just a little girl talk in cozy center.

We love when Ms. Ashley reads to us.

Here I go down the BIG slide!

Running into older siblings is always fun.

 Peek-a-boo!  I see you!

Homemade Boats

Pre-K Two got creative and used recycled Capri Sun pouches and turned them into boats for water week!  After they got done making their creations they went outside to test and see if they would float.  And they did!

 Ready to launch our boats!

 Testing them in the water.

Boat makers!

It's Raining, It's Pouring!

Pre-K Two thought with so much water play this week they better make some umbrellas for protection!

Ice Painting

We painted with water outside and now we painted with ice inside! Pre-K One used food coloring to make red, yellow, green and blue ice cubes.  The kids used these to "paint" pretty pastel drawings.  It was also a sensory project since the kids got to feel the cold ice on their fingers.  Water Works week has been so much fun and we love playing with water in all it's forms.
