Happy Mother's Day

AoCS wants to wish all of our incredible moms a VERY Happy Mother's Day.  Please don't forget about our Muffins with Mom coming up this Monday, 5/14 from 7-9am in our kitchen.  If you can't make it, no worries!  We are setting up a "Ma Spa" from 3-5:30pm in the kitchen.  Stop in, grab some fruit water, and let your child pamper you for bit!

Hot Car Safety

Summer is coming, and that means hot temperatures! As the temperatures rise please be keep in mind to check your car for any children before you leave. For the past 20 years 744 children have died from pediatric vehicular heatstroke. All 744 deaths were 100% preventable. 

 

 Here are some tips to help you prevent this from happening to you! 

 

1. Always check the back seat

2. Place a child's item in the front seat

3. Place a personal item in the back

4. Create a plan as a family to prevent this from happening

Teacher Appreciation Week 2018

It's our favorite week of the year...Teacher Appreciation Week!  Teachers take on roles of mom, dad, nurse, therapist, referee, and much more in their daily duties.  We are so blessed at AoCS to have loving teachers who provide a safe and playful environment for our students.  This week we will shower our teachers will food and gifts as a way to give back.  Make sure to thank your child's teachers this week and let them know how special they are to your family. 

"Fishing" for Your Referrals

We are "fishing" for your referrals.  "Catch" a snack on your way home as well as instructions on how to leave us a Google review.  We want to spread the word on what a "swimming" school we have here! 

Slithering Snakes

Preschool Two's wonderful word of the week is "slithering".  They have slithered like snakes all up and down the hallway and today they painted paper plates outdoors with watercolors then cut into a spiral to make them into snakes.  What a fun way to learn new vocabulary!

Potty Training Workshop

Last night we hosted our annual parent potty training workshop.  We love to help our families through developmental milestones like potty training.  We want to support our parents any way we can and free education classes are just one way we accomplish this.  It's a great time to come together, support each other, and learn a lot.

Annual Earth Day Picnic

It was the perfect day for a picnic as we celebrated Earth Day.  Thanks to all the family members who came to join us for lunch.
