 Trick Or Treat!!

It's that time of the year...Ghost, Jack-O'-Lantern, Super Heroes, and Witches everywhere! Our first big celebration in fall, TRUNK or TREAT!! We invited all our AOCS Families to come and celebrate with us. Our amazing teachers decorated their cars in such creative ways. The kids had a blast and the parents also enjoyed the festivity. It's always great to see all the smiles. We even had a special guest- SPIDER MAN!!

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Every October we pick a day and celebrate breast cancer awareness by wearing pink. We are honored to join the campaign to increase awareness of the disease. By wearing pink we are showing our support to those that lost to the disease and to support the progress we are making together to defeat breast cancer. It it very important for those that affected to know they don't stand alone.

Happy Fall!

Our friends have been enjoying the fall weather. They've been playing soccer, t-ball, freeze tags, riding bikes, drivings cars, sliding down and exploring the changes. We hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we do!💛

Ready for table food?
Trying food for the first time is a fun and exciting time for you baby! But it can be hard to know if they are ready, and how to get started.
Here are some tips that can help introducing solids easier.
  • Get ready for it to be messy. Allowing baby to interact with food in many ways can encourage them to try more things
  • Sit down with them
  • Baby should be able to sit down with full support
  • Is able to control head and neck
  • Gagging, spitting food out, and making faces are NORMAL. Eating is a learning curve, but don't give up
  • For table food:
  • Do your best to offer baby the same food adults are eating
  • Start with a very small portion. Too much food on a plate can feel overwhelming at the start
  • Offer a variety of foods, but include one "safe" food at every meal
  • Your baby's tastes and appetite with change day to day. Worry more about what they eat in a week than at each meal
  • Cut soft food into small pieces or thin slices
