Learning by Demonstration 

It was a very busy day in Toddler one so Ms Dalilah wanted to do an activity that would keep the toddlers busy and calm but fun. She had all the toddlers come on the play carpet and took out the Grippies Builders. Grippies Builders are sensory and magnetics pieces that are great for exploring. She then demonstrated how to use the grippes. Demonstrations are a way to encourage and engage the toddlers in amore complete way. Also, toddlers learn more through observation and with demonstration we get more engagement.  

There are different forms on demonstration activities. You can use blocks, legos, or even cups, anything that you can play and demonstrate with. Being involve with the kids more on ground level is great!
