Mr. Big Time Healthy!

To help us celebrate our Fitness Fanatics month, we invited out our friend Mr. Big Time Healthy to teach us about staying fit and healthy!  He showed us how to do a healthy high five, taught us about exercise, and all about healthy eating. It was so much fun getting to dance, sing, and learn all at the same time! 

National Hat Day

The Academy of Cool Springs celebrated National Hat Day today by wearing all sorts of fun and unique hats!

National Hat Day is an unofficial holiday which falls annually on January 15th. It celebrates one of the oldest human accessories. Hats have been worn all throughout history for a variety of different purposes: to indicate social status or branch of military service; to indicate the wearer has a position of authority; for religious purposes or to denote nationality; for ceremonial or fashion purposes; or to protect the wearer from sun, rain or other hazards. It’s such an important article of clothing that millions of people all over the world will celebrate this day by dusting off their favorite hat and wearing it proudly in public.

Smoothie Station

Good morning AoCS parents. We want to thank you for being so awesome with a parent appreciation smoothie station. Help yourself to juices, fresh fruits, dried fruits, yogurt, and a homemade orange smoothie! Yum! We hope this starts your day off in the right direction.
