Prom 2023

🚀 DON'T TELL ME THE SKY'S THE LIMIT

WHEN THERE ARE FOOTPRINTS ON THE MOON! 🌚

After our graduation event, we quickly transformed our space into our PreK Prom! We had a BLAST dancing and being silly together one last time! Our day was complete with a balloon artist, face painting, snacks, a space station, and of course, great company!

2023 Graduation

We wanted to make a special shout-out post to our wonderful class of 2023! Our rising Kindergarteners have made us all so proud with the people they are becoming and all that they have learned! It was a bittersweet event having all the families gathered together to celebrate such an accomplishment.

One of the highlights of the graduation was the children singing a song about various careers while dressed as that profession. They were so excited to sing on the stage and get to dress like familiar community helpers!

To the families of our graduates - We are so thankful that you chose to trust us with your children each day. It's an honor to watch them grow and play. We wish you all the best of luck in Kindergarten and can't wait for you to stop by for a visit! We love you!

Just Imagine

Our cheeks are hurting from smiling so much!!! The AMAZING Spider-Man dropped by for a visit during our imagination week & it was incredible!! He talked with all of our friends and took pictures with them as families picked up for the day! He even walked down the hall on his hands! Throughout the week children participated in a character dress up day, which was also super fun. It was so cute to see which characters they chose! Teachers also organized unicorn fizz, wand and shield decorating, and they made fairy dust necklaces. Any chance to express themselves creatively brings so much joy to our building!

Mad Scientist Week!

Mad Scientist Week

This week the children have loved getting involved with so many fun experiments! We had a wonderful special guest, Mr. Bond! They saw demonstrations of electricity and wind power. He even made their hair stand up on their heads!
The children also made different mixtures this week, walking rainbows, fizzy ice, and LAVA LAMPS! They learned that with science, many different outcomes are possible! They discussed safety and the importance of adult supervision.
Throughout the week, our families competed in a Robot Competition! The task was to build a robot as family and the winner will take home a super fun science kit! There are so many benefits to involving the family in events at school. We love the community that it builds and the conversations that it prompts!
To continue our theme, we served our teachers a "mix your own potion" Woot Woot cart! They mixed together their favorite combination on juices and sodas and enjoyed their potion in a beaker cup!! We love a good theme around here!

Chopped Jr. Week!

This week we have been cookin' up some fun during Chopped Jr. Week!
With practice in measuring, classifying kitchen tools, using imaginations to prepare, serve, and clean up meals, and getting creative with other ways to use food for fun, it's safe to say that our chefs have big things in store for the world! The most exciting part of our week was having Mrs. Katrina visit our classes dressed in her chef attire! As a certified pastry chef, she was able to answer all the questions while whipping up some homemade banana bread with children! They loved mixing ingredients, stirring, and enjoying their banana bread for afternoon snack! This week included other fun activities such a apron decorating, washing dishes, making food necklaces, and decorating cakes and donuts!

We Are America!

We loved all things patriotic this week! It felt so strange having a random Tuesday off from school, but everyone LOVED celebrating the 4th all week! Our older students discussed why we celebrate this holiday and learned about our national symbols. Our little ones dressed in red, white, and blue and engaged in activities that involved shapes, colors, and even a flag ring toss! To cool us off and wrap up an amazing week, we had the Snowcone Truck (KONA ICE) visit and serve red, white, and blue snowcones to our classes! Safe to say we were all smiles around here!
