Valentine's Day Craft!

Valentine's is almost upon us and we are so excited! As soon as the new year begins, we look forward to all the red and pink that will up every classroom walls. This is just the beginning of all the Valentine's Day festivities. 

 

 

Gross Motor Time! 

Our friends are missing their outside time due to the weather but teachers have been keeping them busy. It was fun seeing all the Gross Motor activity our educators put together. It is very important for kids to still have their gross motor activities incorporated in their daily routine if they cannot go outside for playtime. Gross motors activities are important for kids to practice as they grow because it helps children learn how to coordinate and control their body movement.  

Here's a few Gross Motor Skills that can easily be done inside or outside:

1. Trampolines 

2. Hopscotch 

3. Playground Play 

4. Bubble and balloon play 

5. Kicking ball 

6. Hula Hoop 

7. Dancing 

8. Obstacle courses 

 

PLANT YOURSELF AT THE ACADEMY!

Plant yourself at The Academy!! We were super excited to pass out our new T-Shirt with special treats and little plant. We want to let our educators know that they play a very important role in a child's life, especially at their this age! Day to day they prove how much they love this job and we could not be more grateful for the phenomenal educators we have!

Snow  much  fun!!

What a fun way to start the New Year! Our friends have been home enjoying the snow with their families. Moments captured that shares memories that will last a lifetime. we hope you enjoy these pictures as much we as did. 

We can do so much activities when it snows, inside or outside. We can go sledding, build a snowman, play snowball fight, make snow angels and even use our fine motor skills to explore snow. We can make snow paint, snow ice cream or snow balloon gems.  There are so many activities that can be found on Pinterest that can be fun for the entire families.
