Gross Motor Time!
Our friends are missing their outside time due to the weather but teachers have been keeping them busy. It was fun seeing all the Gross Motor activity our educators put together. It is very important for kids to still have their gross motor activities incorporated in their daily routine if they cannot go outside for playtime. Gross motors activities are important for kids to practice as they grow because it helps children learn how to coordinate and control their body movement.
Here's a few Gross Motor Skills that can easily be done inside or outside:
1. Trampolines
2. Hopscotch
3. Playground Play
4. Bubble and balloon play
5. Kicking ball
6. Hula Hoop
7. Dancing
8. Obstacle courses
