CLASSROOM HIGHLIGHTS

Toddlers

Our toddlers had so much fun outside. They got to do art on the picnic table. What's better than doing arts outside and enjoying the amazing spring weather.

Pre-k One

Pre-k one friends were working on their fine motor skills. They were creating with play-dough. It's always great to see what all their little minds can create!

Preschool One

Preschool one friends look forward to doing art with their friends everyday! They do a great job at exercising their fine motor skills.

Pre-k Two

Pre-k two had fun playing the color farm song, and the color parade game! It is such a fun way to learning colors.

Hello Spring

Our friends are very happy to welcome Spring! We've learned a lot about the season and what all fun activities we can do. Some of our friends are excited to fly kites and some can't wait to see flowers bloom. We are enjoying the amazing weather and sunshine the most we can to make up for the rainy days, of course! April's calendar is full of fun actives and we can't wait to make more memories with our friends and teachers.💛

Bruce The Magician

We had a very special visitor today, Bruce the Magician! He made us laugh as we watched in amazement of all of his magic tricks! Some of our friends even got to help him by being his assistant!

Rainbow Chain

RAINBOW CHAIN

WE STARTED TO CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK'S DAY BY MAKING A RAINBOW CHAIN. IT IS DEFINITELY ONE ACTIVITY THAT EVERYONE ENJOYS PARTICIPATING IN. WE LOOK FORWARD TO IT EVERY YEAR. IT'S JUST SOMETHING ABOUT RAINBOWS THAT BRINGS HAPPINESS TO OUR SCHOOL FAMILIES. WE LOVE WATCHING THIS ACTIVITY BEING DONE AS A FAMILY.

Celebrating Dr Seuss!!

It has been a fun week celebrating Dr Seuss and Read Across America! We've read lots of books and we've done plenty of cute Dr Seuss-tastic crafts. Wednesday we had Dr Seuss dress up day and although we did not take much pictures, our kids and teachers wore some cute outfits and accessories. The week was ended with a special guest reader and Seuss Movie Mania. So much fun!

Getting a Jump on Childhood Obesity

Healthy habits are instilled at a young age, with most habits being formed during adolescence. We feel it important to instill good habits at an early age, addressing behavioral factors that contribute to overweight and obesity from the beginning.

The Gold Sneaker initiative was developed to enhance policy related to physical activity and nutrition within licensed child care facilities across Tennessee. Policies we've adopted include minimum requirements on physical activity, sedentary activities, breastfeeding, meal time, behaviors, portion sizes, and a tobacco-free facility.
