Earth Day Picnic!

We celebrate Earth Day a little early this year.  But the kids didn't mind!  It was a BEAUTIFUL day for a picnic and we were so blessed to have so many parents join us!

Story Time Helper

Stella did a great job at holding the book for her friends during book time.  I think we might have a future teacher on our hands.  :)

Making Jellyfish

Pre-K One made beautiful jellyfish out of bowls and strips of paper.  Look how focused each student is on making their creation!

Toddler Time!

 Duck face.  Lol!

 Sweet Jack

 Cute faces, sweet babies

 Circle time

 All smiles!

 How cute is he?

 CHEESE!

He's too fast to slow down and look at the camera.

Miller is loving his new big boy room.

Apparently the boys has to meet to discuss some important business.

 Time to learn.

 They love working together.

 Pile on Wilfrida!!!

This picture cracks us up...climbing on Ms. Frida but it looks like he's giving her a massage!  LOL!

Ocean Sensory Exploration

Pre-Scholar Enrichments came yesterday and brought an ocean sensory experience for our students.  They dug in the "water" to find different sea life.  Then they were challenged to teach their friends all about that animal.

Animal Tales

Animal Tales came to visit us today for zoo month and  brought all sorts of critters!  They brought a snake, chinchilla, porcupine, kangaroo, bull frog, and bird just like Zazu off of the Lion King.  The kids were mesmerized!  They learned a lot but we were also impressed with their answers to his questions.  He asked what a carnivore was and what it meant to be nocturnal.  Our kiddos answered perfectly!  #proudteachingmoment

 What good listeners we have.

 The horn-bill bird.

He was just like Zazu off The Lion King.  Everyone loved when he flapped his wings.

The kangaroo was hungry and wanted his bottle.  Did you know kangaroos can travel 30 feet in a single jump?  That means it could cross a basketball court in only three jumps!

He let many of our students volunteer...and they all did a great job!

Thank you to Animal Tales for visiting!

Frog!  Just like our mascot ACE!

 Horn-bill bird

The chinchilla was so incredibly soft.  His name was Frostbite.

Eyes closed, getting ready to pet the chinchilla.

Mr. Austin got to take care of the wallaby during the presentation!

 SNAKE!

That's one long snake!

 Porcupine!

To get him back in his cage he tempted him with a sweet potato.

How many kids get to pet a kangaroo at their school?!

A kangaroo...in a diaper?!  How cute is that?
