🍂October is off to a wonderful start here at AoCS! 🎃

 October is off to a fantastic start at The Academy of Cool Springs, and we have already made so many sweet memories! 

Our friends have been soaking up the beautiful fall weather with plenty of outdoor play, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. 

From running, climbing, and exploring to playing with friends. Our playgrounds have been full of laughter, smiles, and little adventures. 

Outdoor play gives our little learners the chance to build gross motor skills, practice teamwork, use their imaginations, and explore the world around them.

We also enjoyed a special Picnic day, giving our little learners time to enjoy their food, sunshine, and friendships outside!

One of the highlights of the week was welcoming Dr. Whitfield, Thomas's dad, to visit our Pre-K friends! He shared all about his job as a Heart Surgeon and how he helps people in our community by taking care of their hearts. Our friends loved learning about how the heart works and how doctors help keep hearts healthy. We are so thankful for families who take time to share their professions and make learning come alive for our students! 

Our classrooms have been getting into the fall spirit with fun, hands on activites, including making our very own candy corn craft!

We also had lots of reasons to celebrate, with many birthdays to make extra special. There is nothing better than celebration out amazing little learners and watching their faces light up! 

We are so excited for everything October has in store! From fall fun and creative classroom activities to special visitors and birthday celebrations, we are making memories one day at a time.
