With every graduation, comes the feelings of pride as a group of incredibly adorable group of children stand up on stage and recite poems, sing songs, and hold diplomas. Their smiles are beaming with joy as they knock their cap off for the 4th time and still have their tassel in their mouth despite your redirection. Between the songs, the smiles, and all that has been accomplished since their first day of preschool, we find the bittersweet feelings that come with saying goodbye. For several of these families, we have been lucky enough to have known them since their infant days, or even before they were born as their siblings made their way through our halls. Sending our rising kindergarteners off to their new adventures is far from easy, but we do it with confidence that they are ready to take on the world! Just as unique as the child itself, is the journey that travel as they grow and play with us here at school. We feel like we've been through so much together and we are SO. VERY. PROUD. of the children they are turning out to be! We have to thank all of our amazing teachers for the time and love that they've poured into the big moments and the small, the lessons they create, and the friendships they foster while the children are in their care. Finally, a thank you to the parents! Thank you for supporting the children and always advocating for successes, never stop that! Thank you for cheering for our teachers, as some days are harder than others. Most importantly, thank you for trusting us with your greatest treasures! We will miss our daily interactions, but we can't wait to watch them succeed in school!

Ooey Gooey Week
This week was a messy one as our children fully embraced Ooey Gooey Week! This is such a fun, sensory packed, week each summer! Sometimes the greatest messes come with the greatest memories. While children explored new textures and scents, they also focused and remained highly in engaged in the activities planned for them. Saying yes to the mess increases their concentration and also gives them an opportunity to play collaboratively with other members of their class.

Fine Motor on the Farm - Barnyard Bash
This week was Barnyard Bash and we have had a blast! We've sheared sheep, stacked haybales, and cleaned muddy animals! We had a visit from baby goats, several fun sensory bins, and many adorable crafts! The engagement was high as we played pretend, built our fine motor muscles, and used real-life application to make barnyard week a huge success!
