Pumpkins, pumpkins all around! One of the best things about the fall is all the pumpkins we have available. Our preschoolers were able to use their senses to explore the insides of a pumpkin. They were able to see, feel and smell the pumpkin. We cut open the pumpkin and encouraged them to explore the inside. They were able to investigate with their hands, eyes, ears and nose. They were able to use sensory skills and fine motor skills. We heard a lot of yuck and eews. Overall they had a great time turning a science experiment into play.
