What a fun day in the sunshine! Our teachers and staff LOVED their professional development and team building day at Camp Widjiwagon. We had the opportunity to participate in many fun team building activities that promoted clear communication and collaboration. We laughed and enjoyed a time to be silly and enjoy each other's company. We built each other up writing positive words and phrases on the cards of team members to let them know what we respect about one another. It is so nice to read words of encouragement from those that we work side-by-side with. Another portion of our day was getting to hear from Colleen Smith. She is a well-known author in our field of child development and is currently still working in the classroom. Our teachers took away many truths surrounding working with children, self-care, and age appropriate expectations in the classroom. We left feeling empowered to help our children find their own voice and use it in big ways! All of this would not be possible without the support and hard work of our NGU Management team. We are fortunate to work for a company that places priority on continued education for our teachers and making work an enjoyable to place to be!
