Sock Hop

We continued our Time Travels theme with a SOCK HOP.  We kicked off our shoes, grabbed a partner, and started dancin' away.  The kids picked up on classic dances like the twist and mashed potato quickly and off they went!  We listened to classic music and the room was one big party.  We topped off the day with yummy milkshakes.

 Twirlin' around!

 Thumbs up from our greasers

 A pink lady!

Woo hoo for sock hop day!

 Don't worry...I'll catch you!

Three greasers and a pink lady.

 Yummy milkshakes!

Ms. Lindsay doing the monster mash!

She even brought her old record player and the kids loved exploring it.

Wild West

Howdy, partners!  We continue our travels through time with a wild west day.  We saw kids in boots, cowboy hats, and denim.  The even panned for gold!  We used pie tins and wet sand to search for the "gold".  The kids loved finding the hidden treasure.  We ended the day with some yummy cowboy cupcakes!

 Panning for gold!

Looks like we have two sheriffs.

Nothing says wild west like a cowboy mustache!

 Looks at all our mustaches!

 The bandana twins.

 What a pretty cowgirl!

 Look at all that GOLD!

 Cowboy cupcakes

 I spy another cowboy.

These boots are made for walking!

Dino Day

This week is TIME TRAVELS!  We started back in time with Dino Day.  Kids wore their dinosaur shirts and we dug for dino bones.  We had our bones all hidden underneath the sand and the kids worked and worked to dig them out then used paintbrushes to clean them off just like an archeologist would.

 Digging for those dino bones.

They were buried down in the sand!

His shirt says "ROAR", just like a dinosaur.

 These boys said ROAR too!

We even made fossil cookies.

Pre-K One Group Shot

Check out these ADORABLE group shots from Pre-K One last week.  Ms. Sebrina knew fall transitions were on the horizon so she wanted to get a group shot before everyone moved up.  This is such a special group of kids!

We can't have a group pic without showing our silly faces!
