Happy Grandparent's Day!

Yesterday we celebrated a very important part of our families...GRANDPARENTS!  Each class made special gifts for the grandparents and we also hosted a tea where grandparents and kids could have fun eating and snacking together.  Thank you to all the grandparents who came to visit.  We are glad you could come visit our school family.

Annual Fall Conference

Every year we host two teacher conferences.  All Academy centers close and the teachers come together for a day full of learning and inspiration.  They are given the opportunity to share ideas with fellow teachers and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in education.  Here are some pictures from our conference this past Friday.

 The room was ready to host almost 350 early childhood educators from all over Middle Tennessee.

 We learned about our company's new vision...PEACE!

 Katie from Branches Ministries talked about how they are there to help Academy teachers with support groups, retreats, classes and more!

 Our keynote speaker, Lisa Murphy, delivered amazing topics and had our teachers loving the day!

 We learned all sorts of stuff!  Like did you know there are 80 types of pre-writing scribbles?!

 Congrats to Ms. Katrina for being awarded the ITERS all star from our center.

 And Ms. Rebecca was the ECERS all star this year!

We ended the day with a speech from our COO, Lesley Hosford.

End of Summer FOAM PARTY!

How can you end summer with a bang?!  A FOAM PARTY of course!  Check out all the foamy fun we had today.

Adventures with ACE Continues

This summer we challenged families to take our school mascot, ACE, along with them on their summer adventures!  ACE traveled to the beach, Disney World, the Space and Rocket Center, and many more places. Here is ACE on his latest adventure with the Widrig family.  And don't forget...our Adventures with ACE contest winner will be announced this Thursday after our Family Ice Cream Social.  One lucky family will win a FREE week of tuition!  Thanks to all of our families that participated in this fun summer contest. 


Hello!

Ace goes North in his latest adventure!  First he hopped on board a flight bound for Pittsburgh, PA.

From Pittsburgh, Ace traveled by car to West Valley, NY.  Ace got to meet Elijah's Dad's family who were all in town to celebrate a wedding.  Before the wedding Ace got an extra special treat, eh!  He went to Canada!  This is Ace by Niagara Falls with two of Elijah's cousins.

The falls were really misting and Ace and Elijah thought it was raining.

After visiting our neighbors to the North the next day we went to Elijah's Uncle's wedding.  This is his Aunt Betsy.  She is a beautiful bride!!!

Ace crossing over the Canadian border.  Just so you know, he crossed safely since he didn't need a passport.

Ace and Elijah had a wonderful trip through PA, NY and Canada.  Hope everyone has a great rest of the summer!!
