Yesterday we got to bake our own afternoon snack. In the morning, the children made banana bread from scratch! Ms. Katrina, who is also a pastry chef, was nice enough to bring her apron and teach us a thing or two about baking. We got to peel the bananas, mash the bananas, crack the eggs, measure the ingredients, and our favorite...stir! Then we put the banana bread in the over and it baked for about 45 minutes. We let it cool and then ate it for afternoon snack. It was delicious! We sure do have a lot of talented kids here at AoCS. I smell some future chefs in the making!
