Today we had a special visitor, Stella the Bearded Dragon! Mrs. Christine brought Stella because so many of our classes have been learning about different animals and critters. The children had the chance to look at Stella, touch her skin, and ask questions. Connecting to their prior knowledge, child talked about where Stella lives, what she eats, how she sheds her skin, how she uses her claws, and they were very curious about what it looks like for her to spit out her tongue!
