All About Me: Celebrating Our Children & Families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

 Goodbye September, hello August! 🍂✨

We had a fun month here at The Academy of Cool Springs! This month was all about US! 💕 We started off strong with self portraits. Our Pre-K students used a variety of materials to create their own little masterpieces, our very own little Picassos! 🎨🖌️

It was so much fun watching their creativity shine as they explored colors, textures, and different ways to express themselves. We’re so proud of each and every one of our little artists! 💛

Our preschoolers are loving jumping back into Frog Street this month! 🐸💚 They’re building important skills across all areas of development, including social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.

Story time is always a favorite! 📚✨ Our little learners are enjoying reading and exploring books all about US, learning more about themselves, their friends, and what makes each of us so special. We love watching their curiosity and excitement grow with every story! 💕

We had so much fun celebrating Hat Day as a school! Our Pre-K friends definitely showed out with some of the cutest and most creative hats. 🎉💛

And let’s just say, those hats definitely came in handy while we were outside enjoying some fun on the playground! ☀️🛝 Our little friends had a great time showing off their hats and enjoying some fresh air and playtime with their friends! 💕

We officially welcomed fall with a fun and creative apple stamping activity! Our Pre-K friends dipped apples into paint and created their own colorful fall masterpieces. 🎨

This hands on activity encouraged creativity while helping our little learners strengthen their fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and ability to make choices. Most importantly, they had so much fun exploring, creating, and celebrating the new season together!

We’re excited for all the fun fall adventures ahead! 🍂🍎

Which brings us to our next fun fall activity! 🍂 Our Pre-K friends had a blast exploring a fall themed sensory bin filled with colorful pompoms. 🍁🧡 They scooped, sorted, and explored the different textures while using their imaginations and fine-motor skills. It was a simple activity filled with lots of hands on learning and fun! ✨

We’re closing out our All About Me month with something very special a beautiful portrait wall celebrating the families in our Academy of Cool Springs community! 💕👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Our little learners were so proud to share their families with us. This special display reminds us that every family is unique, special, and an important part of who we are. What a wonderful way to wrap up a month all about celebrating US! ✨
